Welcome Same Sex Dancers and Couples!
I am pleased to invite you to the Holiday Ball & Dance Camp and our newly created day of workshops offered exclusively for Same Sex dancers to continue our shared passion for dance. All our Same Sex events take place Thursday, Dec. 29th 2011 at the beautiful Beverly Hilton
- 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm: Competitions in all your favorite dances: Salsa, Hustle, WC-Swing, Line Dances, Large Group Formations, Intl. Style Ballroom and Latin, American Rhythm and Smooth. Please note: the number of entries will dictate the levels offered. A minimum of 3 couples will be required to hold an event.
- 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm: Join us for a delicious dinner buffet
- 7:30 pm to 11:00 pm: Workshops specially themed for Same Sex dancing, general dancing and shows.
Workshops will be conducted by two of our specially invited guests, Maximiliaan Winkelhuis, lecturer and author of “Dance To Your Maximum” and Shirley Ballas, international champion and trainer.
Both these coaches have had considerable experience teaching within the Same Sex community worldwide. Their knowledge, enthusiasm and inspiration for enhancing one’s dance experience will make this a truly memorable evening.
And be sure to dance the night away as we’ll be having some surprises and guest demonstrations so plan on Dec. 29th as your dancing holiday gift!

Full Day Package - $145
Includes: "all you can dance" entries for the competition, session ticket to the Ballroom, Dinner Buffet, Workshops & Party.
Workshops & Party - $75
Dinner Buffet - $25
Single Dance Entries for the competition - $12 per dance per person
Admission ticket to the competition - $10
Sponsorship for same-sex couple dancers
We are proud to introduce our sponsor for the day, Dr. Waleed Doany. He is an avid student training in the International Style Ballroom and Latin divisions and also competes with his Professional teacher, Amanda Garner. Waleed is a gay man who wants to see more LGTT dancers on the dance floor showing off their skills and in an effort to contribute. Waleed will be sponsoring couples/dancers who would like to attend however have financial difficulty.
Simply send us an email (info@holidayball.com) with a link to a video-clip of your dancing, and if chosen, you will get sponsored for this competition plus the evenings activities! It is possible to help with other expenses, depending on your needs and your skills.

For the couple rated "Best Dancers Of The Day" an additional scholarship will be donated by Dr. Waleed Doany:
